SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a well-refined middle distillate petroleum product containing normal commercial additive
3、s. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as initial fill fuel for diesel engines in passenger cars and trucks expected to operate in colder climates. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. This
4、material must be produced using current refinery practices for commercial diesel fuels and in addition to the requirements of this specification, must also meet all pertinent local requirements including climatic grades. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part
5、producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 CETANE RATING 3.2.1 Cetane Number, min 50.0 (ISO 5165/ASTM D 613) 3.2.2 Cetane Index, min 40.0 (ISO 4264/ASTM D 4737) 3.3 SULFUR, max 0.035% (ISO 14596/ISO 8754/ASTM D 4294/ASTM D 2622) 3.4 AS
