12、k needed to rehabilitate an existing pipes in a levee system using the slip lining method by providing pipe liners, bulkheads, annular space grouting between the host and slip liner, performance testing as stated herein and providing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to accomplish the wor
13、k as stated herein. In all instances, rehabilitation shall include installation of a liner pipe within an existing host pipe with a continuously grouted annular space. The sizes, types, and dimensions of the pipe liners shall be selected by the Contractor and submitted for approval and shall include
14、 all connections, joints, and other appurtenances as required to complete the work.1.2 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENTPayment will be made for work performed under this item in accordance with theeach pipe slip lined as shown in the bid schedule. Do not drop pipe from cars or trucks, nor allow pipe to roll down skids without proper restraining ropes. Use suitable pads, strips, skids, or blocks for each pipe during transportation and whi
45、le awaiting installation in the field. Liner pipe shall be moved by machinery in a controlled manner. Do not allow liner pipe to roll down the levee embankment at any time.
