SCOPE:1.1 Form: This specification covers one type of epoxy-resin-impregnated carbonfibers in the form of tape and sheet.1.2 Application: Primarily for use in structural composites requiring hightensile strength up to 120C (248F).1.3 Classification: G 200,000 psi (1379 MPa) tensile str

6、ength, 18,000,000 psi(124 GPa) tensile modulus carbon fiber impregnated with epoxy resin forservice up to 120C (248F).2. APPLICABLE DOCUMENTS: See AMS 3894.3.1 TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:3.1 Basic Specification: The complete requirements for procuring the productdescribed herein shall consist of this do

7、cument and the latest issue of thebasic specification, AMS 3894.3.2 Material: The product shall be AMS 3892/1 high tensile strength carbonfibers impregnated with epoxy resin formulated to meet the requirementsspecified herein.3.2.1 Storage Life: The product shall meet the requirements of thisspecifi

8、cation when tested at any time up to 6 months from date of receiptby purchaser provided it has been stored in the original unopenedcontainers at not higher than -18C (0F).3.2.2 Working Life: The product shall meet the requirements of thisspecification when tested after continuous exposure for up to

12、 from a test panel prepared as specified in the basic specification andtested in accordance with test methods specified therein:3.4.1 Mechanical Properties: Shall be as specified in Table I.3.4.2 Density: Shall be determined on the test laminate used to determinemechanical properties; values for eac
