SCOPE This SAE Aerospace Standard (AS) shall be used in conjunction with AMS4946 to provide requirements for qualification testing and for Qualified Products Listing (QPL) and Qualified Manufacturer Listing (QML) for Ti-3Al-2.5V cold worked and stress relieved hydraulic system tubing. Th
7、e basic tubing shall comply with the requirements of AMS4946. 1.1 Classification The AMS4946 Type designations for this tubing are repeated here for reference. 1.1.1 Types Type I - Tubing with 105 ksi (724 MPa) minimum yield strength Type II - Tubing with 95 ksi (655 MPa) minimum yield strength Type

14、 PD1100 Nadcap Program Requirements PD2001 Manufacturer Request for Product Approval or on three S-shaped specimens each having two 160 bends as shown in Figure 2 and to the dimensions shown in Table 2. Tests are to be conducted at room temperature. Specimens shall be fabricated from different tubes
15、 in the lot (see 3.3.1). 4.3.1.3 S-N Testing Qualification S-N testing shall be in accordance with AS4265. Specimens shall be as shown in Figure 3 and Table 2, and shall be tested at room temperature in quantites as specified in AS4265. Specimens shall be fabricated from different tubes in the lot (

Periodic tests to AS4265 may be conducted using three specimens each at two stress levels selected by the user or PRI. Fig

21、 in AMS4946 and the hydraulic impulse tests specified in this standard. The report shall contain a listing of all manufacturing processes and materials used in manufacturing of the qualification test specimens. Test samples shall be stored for a period of 3 years and made available if requested by t
22、he user or PRI. 4.4.2 Acceptance Test Reports Shall conform to AMS4946, except that Standard Number AS5620 shall be used instead of AMS4946. 4.5 Re-Sampling and Re-Testing Shall conform to AMS4946. 4.5.1 Re-sampling for Contractile Strain Ratio Shall conform to AMS4946. 5. PREPARATION FOR DELIVERY 5
23、.1 Identification Identification shall be in accordance with AMS4946, except that the standard number AS5620 shall be used instead of AMS4946. Marking shall be in accordance with AMS2809, except that system pressure psi shall be added to marking, as applicable to the tubing wall thickness and size l
