SCOPE This SAE Standard includes hydraulic backhoes which have no more than 190 degrees of ro
6、tational swing, and are mounted on wheel tractors and crawler tractors. Illustrations used are not intended to include all existing commercial machines or to be exact descriptions of any particular machine. The illustrations have been chosen to describe the principles to be used in applying this sta
7、ndard. 1.1 Purpose This SAE Standard defines types of hydraulic backhoes and the names of major components and parts peculiar to hydraulic backhoes. 2. DEFINITIONS For purposes of this Standard, hydraulic backhoes are divided into three type classifications dependent on the method of attaching to the machines. The arrangement of backhoe components illustrated is applicable to any of the t
10、hree types. 3.1 TYPE A BACKHOE A backhoe designed to be installed on a standard three-point hitch coupler, or equivalent, in which usage1is as an alternate implement. (Ref. ASABE S217.12.) 3.2 TYPE B BACKHOE A backhoe designed to be installed on a machine in which usage1is a basic function of the ma
11、chine, but can be readily removed and replaced by other tools or equipment. 3.3 TYPE C BACKHOE A backhoe designed to be an integral part of the machine, in which usage1is a primary function of the machine. Even though the backhoe may be removable, the tractor is not designed to have the backhoe repl
