Static Tests5.1 Longitudinal Load5.1.1 PURPOSETo determine the ability of the vehicle hinge system to withstand a test load in the longitudinalvehicle direction.5.1.2 EQUIPMENTa. In such cases, the results for an individual hinge, when tested in accordance with theprocedures in 6.2, shall be such as to indicate that system requirements in 4.1 and 4.2 are met. (Example: Anindividual hinge in a two-hin
