7、ss than 5mm so the surface can be considered continuous. 2(5 x 7) + 3(3 x 5) (2(0.5(2 x 2) =111 mm bottom surface area Total Surface Area 48+111 = 159 mm Example 3 Harness bundle used as a push surface Push surface on right and left sides of wire bundle can be counted in the push surface calculation

8、 when the following criteria are met: x Wires are at an angle of at least 30 x Wire bundle width is minimum of 3 mm for Class 1 and 5 mm for Class 2 and 3. 10、wires on at least 3 sides through the length of travel. Example 2- Unobstructed CPA: 3 sides with Angled push surface (Acceptable Condition) The angled CPA push surface allows 3 mm minimum dimension above the side walls (3x5 mm is available). Note: Angle (30-90 deg.) must be positively sloped in the

11、 direction of force insertion. A negatively sloped angle (91-180 deg.) does not qualify. Example 4- Obstructed CPA: 2 Opposing Sides (Acceptable Condition) The CPA push surface, above the side walls, is less than the required 3mm dimension in this example. An acceptable design solution requires 15 mm hor

13、izontal distance between the side walls with a CPA travel distance 7 mm, 19 mm would be required between side walls.
