As the docunlentation noially used by quantity swyors and architects does not provide for the use of a project specification, provision has been made in SAIS 1200 GB for essential ?dditional requkements to LW given on t

Consequently, thc requirements given in the “essential clauses“ sd out in Subclause 1.1 of Section G and which are relevant to work covered by SABS 1200 GB, are dedt with in Clause 2 below. 2. ADDITIONAL CLAUSES 3.1 GENERAL. Where it is necessary to amplify or otherwise to vary the tenus of SABS 1200 GB to render them suitab

15、le for use in projects to be camed out in particular locations or under particular circumstances, proceed as follows: a) Where the work is covered by a civil engineering contract, include in the project specification suitable clauses based on the vlevant of those recommended in Clauses 1-3 of Sectmn
