20、Enhanced General Packet Radio Service- 136 (EGPRS-136) mobile stations (MS) and TIA/EIA-136 message centers. This standard introduces the functions of the Intenvorking Function Message Center (IWF,) which provides the interface between the TIA/EIA-136 Message Center and the Gateway MSC for Short Mes

21、sage Service (SMS-GMSC)/Intenvorking MSC for Short Message Service (SMS-IWMSC). This standard also specifies the functions within the EGPRS-136 MS that are necessary to support TIA/EIA- 136 Teleservice delivery over the GSM Short-Message Service. All other functions of the EGPRS-136 MS relating to s

22、pecific teleservice applications and other data delivery are beyond the scope of this standard. 23、s standard specifies the delivery of TIA/EIA- 136 Teleservices to EGPRS-136 MSs using the Gd interface. Figure 1 shows the network reference model and introduces the IWF, network node. The IWF, uses the GSM SMS protocol to transport TIA/EIA-136 teleservices. The IWF, supports both native-GSM mode te

24、leservices and non-native-GSM mode teleservices. The IWF, relays GSM Transfer Protocol Data Units (TPDUs) received from the TIA/EIA-41 message centers to SMS-GMSCs and relays GSM TPDUs received from SMS-IWMSCs to the message centers. The IWF, provides the necessary intenvorking between a TIA/EIA-41

In Mode 1, the EGPRS-136 MS and the message centers encapsulate and decapsulate teleservice messages with TP-PID=ANSI- 136 R- DATA (see ETSI TS 123.0402), optionally using TSAR for segmentation and reassembly. 44、uting will be used If MC address is not known, then Global Title Address of MIN, IMSI, or MSISDN are used in conjunction with the GTT type to yield route to the MC. GTT method can be used to route the message to either calling partys home MC or the called partys home MC. MC responds with smdpp indicating success.
