23、t of this bulletin.) This document is being submitted to APCO/NASTD/FED by the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), as provided for in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) dated December 1993. That MOU provides that APCO/NASTD/FED will devise a Common System Standard for digital public safe

24、ty communications (the Standard), and that TIA shall provide technical assistance in the development of documentation for the Standard. This document has been developed with inputs from the APCO/TIA Project 25 Interface Committee (APIC), the APIC Compliance Assessment Process and Procedures Task Gro

25、up (CAPPTG), and the members of TR-8.25. This document is being published because it is felt that there is an urgent need for technical information on the emerging digital techniques for Land Mobile Radio Service. This document describes a subset of tests appropriate for consideration for use in a c

As other documents associated with compliance assessment are developed, this document will be subject to change. Standardized Trunking Interoperability and Conformance tests are identifi

The full set of Trunking Interoperability and Conformance tests published by TIA for P25 may be found i

This document identifies a subset of the full set of tests in references CABC, CAEC, and CAED appropriate for the compliance assessment testing of Common Air Interfac

31、e Endpoint Equipment, i.e. infrastructure and subscriber units, for Trunked Voice operation. 1.1 Scope This Bulletin identifies the tests appropriate for use in compliance-assessment-type testing in the area of Trunked Voice operation. These tests were deemed appropriate by the members of TR-8.25. T

32、his group, being familiar with the relevant published standards, available test equipment and the general intentions of compliance assessment testing, reviewed all trunking interoperability and conformance tests described in references CABC, CAEC, and CAED. The TIA TR-8.25 subcommittee is responsibl

33、e for maintaining the document and keeping it current with the latest published revisions of references CABC, CAEC, and CAED. In determining the tests appropriate for compliance assessment testing in this area, the group considered whether tests in references CABC, CAEC, and CAED1 were important for

34、 achieving interoperability between equipment of different manufacturers versus tests important for product design and certification. In general, tests that were determined to be more oriented towards product design and certification were deemed unnecessary for inclusion in this list. The resulting

35、list therefore represents tests that are most important for or most likely to impact interoperability between manufacturers building to the same set of published standard documents and conformance to the aforementioned standards. 1 Refer to CBBL for TDMA voice channel conformance tests not included
