The document addresses MIN (Mobile Identification Number), IMSI 5 (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) an

24、d SID (System ID) codes, other numbering 6 resources and their administration both within and outside the North American Numbering 7 Plan area (NANPA). 8 9 10 3GPP2 X.R0070-0 v1.0 1 1 INTRODUCTION 1 1.1 Scope 2 When the first edition of the Mobile Station Land Station Compatibility Specification 3 (

25、IS-3, now TIA/EIA-553-A) was issued, it was envisioned that it would be adopted for use 4 within North America. Provisions were included for international implementation; 5 however, detailed guidelines to assist with such implementations were not included. TIA 6 Subcommittee TR-45.2 (now TIA TR-45.8

26、) recognized the need to provide such guidance 7 and chartered a Working Group (Working Group VI, since dissolved) with this 8 responsibility. The result of this Working Groups deliberations has been the production 9 of TSB-29 as well as the internationalization of other TIA standards, such as, TIA/

27、EIA- 10 41-D (N.S0005), TIA-751 (N.S0009), TIA/EIA/IS-807 (N.S0016), TIA/EIA/IS-875 11 (N.S0027), TIA/EIA-124 (X.S0014), TIA/EIA-136, IS-95, IS-91, and TIA/EIA-2000 12 (C.S00016). TSG-SX (formerly TSG-X and TSG-N) has taken TSB-29 and produced the 13 specification X.R0070, formerly N.S0017. 14 The p
