23、ding cdma2000.11.1 PARAMETER FORMATTIA-41 MAP uses the TCAP parameter format defined in ANSI T1.114.Unless otherwise specified, the least significant bit (LSB) of a parameter, data type or field shall beplaced in the rightmost bit of the highest numbered octet. The most significant bit (MSB) shall b

24、eplaced in the leftmost bit of the lowest numbered octet. This applies to fields composed ofcontiguous or non-contiguous bits.For example, a single octet field will have the LSB in bit A and the MSB in bit H:A 12 bit field occupying octet 1 and bits A-D of octet 2 would have the LSB in bit A of octe

25、t 2 andthe MSB in bit H of octet 1:A 6 bit field occupying bits B-G of octet 1 would have the LSB in bit B and the MSB in bit G:Unless otherwise defined, when a field is defined by reference to another standard (e.g., CDMA) theoctet numbering should correspond with that standard (i.e., Octet 1 of th
