OVERVIEW FOR TIA-470-C STANDARDS 1 The TIA-470-C sub-documents are the result of the revision process for the TIA-470-B document. 2 Due to the size of the TIA-470-B

、document it was deemed necessary to separate the revised standard 3 into smaller sections to allow for greater attention to detail. The TIA-470-C document is formed as a 4 series of sub-documents. TIA-470-B will be rescinded when the existing requirements in TIA-470-B 5 have been published as TIA-47

、0-C sub-documents. 6 7 The TIA-470-C structure is provided in the “Document Structure for TIA-470-C” clause of this 8 document. The new structure provides improved document flexibility, allowing revisions of each 9 particular Section to be handled in a more efficient process. This enables additional

、 requirements to 10 be developed and placed into the new document structure without having the entire document revised. 11 12 The TIA-470-B document format underwent significant changes. Wherever possible, specific test 13 methods have been removed in favor of more generalized methodologies and spec

、ific schematics for 14 test circuits have been replaced with generalized circuits, specifying the test circuit performance. 15 16 Copyright Telecommunications Industry Association Provided by IHS under license with EIANot for ResaleNo reproduction or networking permitted without license from IHS-,-,
