The approval of V.250 was strongly backedby U.S. participants of Study Group 16. The TIA TR-30.2 members have determined thatITU-T Recom

23、mendation V.250 contains all of the requirements which were contained in thefirst edition of TIA/EIA-602. Recommendation V.250 goes on with additional commandswhich were not included in TIA/EIA-602. TIA/EIA-602-A therefore, is written to essentiallypoint to the ITU-T Recommendation V.250, listing th

24、ose commands and options which arecontained in V.250 and apply to TIA/EIA-602-A.TIA-602-A11 SCOPEThis Standard is applicable to the interconnection of data terminal equipment (DTE) anddata circuit-terminating equipment (DCE) employing serial binary data operation via the ITU-T Recommendation V.24, 1

25、00-series interchange circuits. This Standard, through referenceto ITU-T Recommendation V.250, provides four elements:- codifies existing practice in common asynchronous DCE that use the AT commandset. It identifies the protocol elements procedures, and behaviors that were found to beheld in common

26、among a large portion of DCE manufacturers;- defines a format for extension of the AT command set in an orderly fashion. Itreserves the “+“ command prefix to be used by other standardized extensions;- provides a set of standardized extensions, based on the extended “+“ commandformat.2 NORMATIVE REFE
