49、DISTRIBUTION WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM UL2.17 MEASUREMENT INDICATION UNIT (MIU) The output voltage across the meter in themeasurement instrument in Figure 41.2, in millivolts RMS, divided by 500 ohms. MIUs are related tophysiological effects when electric current flows through the human body. At low frequency, the numberof MIUs that is obtained by dividing the output voltage, in millivolts, by 500 ohms, equals the current, inmilliamperes, through the measuring instrument.
