7、ECISION:Electrical Insulation Systems (EIS) used in electrotechnical products intended for applications where thereare transient overvoltages or partial discharge, such as dry-type power and distribution transformers,including open-wound, solid-cast and resin encapsulated transformers, have been eva
8、luated for decadesusing the applicable IEEE C57.12 series of standards, to evaluate the effects of these potentialdegradation factors. UL 1446 has been used to evaluate electrical insulation sytems with respect tothermal degradation only, regardless of the application voltage.Therefore, the scope of
