3、part for enclosure Type rating requirements. UL Listed enclosures and enclosed equipment are requiredto be marked with those enclosure type rating(s) evaluated by UL. However, some product markingsand/or product literature may contain enclosure declarations, including Listees self-declarations, fora

4、dditional enclosure ratings that have not been confirmed through investigation by UL. Further, thepresentation of the enclosure rating information could be presented in such a way making it difficult todetermine which enclosure ratings have been certified by UL. The purpose of this PAG is to provide

5、guidance for the application and identification of the UL Listed enclosure type ratings provided as productmarkings, or in product literature. UL certified enclosure ratings and markings must be clearly separatedfrom any other declared enclosure type ratings, such as NEMA or IPXX enclosure ratings t

6、hat are eitherself-declared or certified by any organization other than UL.This PAG does not include the allowance of any Hazardous Location enclosure ratings not evaluated byUL.GUIDANCE:Application Guideline:A. Product MarkingsThe following applies when the UL certified enclosure rating markings an

7、d Listees self-declared, or anynon-UL certified enclosure ratings are marked on the product:1. The UL Listing mark, the UL certified enclosure rating(s) and other information required by the Listing,such as electrical ratings, wiring instructions, cautionary markings, shall be separated from all oth

8、ermarkings by a circumfluent border where the thickness of the border line is significantly thicker than thelargest font size used in the text. Further, the border around the UL certified ratings shall not be in contactwith the border surrounding any non-UL certified ratings. The text of the UL cert

9、ified enclosure markshould appear as follows:Type _ enclosure orEnclosure type _Where the blank is filled in with the particular enclosure type rating.NOTE 1: The presence of two separate colors (background shading) on a label does not constitute a line.UL COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL NOT AUTHORIZED FOR FUR

11、parate label from the UL certified enclosure ratings, the ULcertified enclosure rating(s) and other information required by the Listing, such as electrical ratings, wiringinstructions, cautionary markings, shall be separated from all other markings as noted in item 1 aboveexcept the UL certified enc

The Listees self-declared, or non-UL certified enclosure rating marking shall not appear within the areaincluding the UL Listed ratings noted in items 1 a
