It is the rst edition of NMX-J-009/4248/4-ANCE, the rst edition of CSA C22.2 No. 4248-4, and the rst edition of UL 4248-4. This common standard was prepared by the Association of Standardization

23、 and Certication (ANCE), CSA Group, and Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL). The efforts and support of the CANENA Technical Harmonization Subcommittee 32B Fuseholders are gratefully appreciated. This standard is considered suitable for use for conformity assessment within the stated scope of the st

24、andard. This standard was reviewed by the CSA Subcommittee on Low voltage fuses, under the jurisdiction of the CSA Technical Committee on Industrial Products and the CSA Strategic Steering Committee on Requirements for Electrical Safety, and has been formally approved by the CSA Technical Committee.

25、 This standard will be submitted to the Standards Council of Canada for approval as a National Standard of Canada. This standard has been approved by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) as an American National Standard. A UL standard is current only if it incorporates the most recently

For Clauses not shown below, refer to the Standard for Fuseholders Part 1: General Requirements, NMX-J-009-4248-ANCE CSA C22.2 No. 4248.1 UL 4248-1. 1.1 S

36、cope 1.1.2 These requirements cover fuseholders intended for use with Class CC Fuses as described in NMX-J-009/248/4-2000-ANCE, CSA C22.2 No. 248.4, UL 248-4, Low-Voltage Fuses Part 4: Class CC Fuses. 4 Classication 4.1 Class CC fuseholders have a short-circuit withstand rating of 200,000 A. Class C

37、C fuseholders are rated 600 V, and have one body size corresponding to the Class CC fuse body size. 5 Characteristics 5.1 Summary of characteristics 5.1.3 Voltage and current rating 5.1.3.1 Class CC fuseholders shall be rated 600 V. 5.1.3.2 Class CC fuseholders shall be rated 30 A. 5.1.4 Withstand r

44、ION FROM UL 8 Tests 8.1 General 8.1.1 Types of tests 8.1.1.1.1 Each fuseholder shall be subjected to the tests as specied in Part 1, with the addition of the following: e) verication of effectiveness of rejection member. 8.4 Verication of temperature rise 8.4.3 Test method 8.4.3.1 With dummy fuses i

45、n place and carrying rated current continuously, the temperature on a material or component or electrical insulation shall not exceed the values in Table 8.4A. 8.4.3.2 Dummy fuses shall be unplated copper and shall conform to the dimensions in Figure 8.4A. 8.4.3.3 The temperatures specied in Table 8

46、.4A are based on an assumed ambient temperature of 25C (77F). A test may be conducted at an ambient temperature within the range of 20 40C (68 104F). 8.4.3.4 During a test conducted at an ambient temperature of 25C (77F), an observed temperature shall not exceed the required value specied in Table 8

47、.4A. 8.4.3.5 If a test is conducted at an ambient temperature other than 25C (77F), an observed temperature shall be corrected as described in Clause 8.4.3.6.
