28、 CREEPAGE and CLEARANCE distance is based on the maximumassigned rated-load current(s) and the marked voltage ratings of the motor-compressor, except that such distancesmay need to be increased depending upon the actual measured load(s) controlled by the thermal protector.3 To enclosure CLEARANCE an
29、d CREEPAGE DISTANCES do not apply between a thermal protector and individual electricalenclosures of a motor-compressor where such enclosures are contained within an outer enclosure or cabinet, in theapplication.4 For circuits not exceeding 300 V, the CREEPAGE DISTANCES at glass-insulated terminals
30、may be 3,2 mm where 6,4 mm isspecified and may be 6,4 mm where 9,5 mm is specified in Table 20.3.101. This does not apply if corrosion protectionprovided on the terminal assembly extends over the glass insulation.5 The CLEARANCE and CREEPAGE DISTANCES between wiring terminals of OPPOSITE POLARITY, o
31、r between a wiring terminal and agrounded metal, shall not be less than 6,4 mm except that if short-circuiting or grounding of such a terminal will notresult from projecting strands of wire, the distances need not be greater than that given in Table 20.3.101. Wiringterminals are those connected in t
