9、ypes are additionally noted in this document. The standard may not use all types of thesedeviations.D1 - These are deviations which are based on basic safety principles and requirements, elimination ofwhich would compromise safety for U.S. consumers and users of products.D2 - These are deviations ba

10、sed on safety practices. These are deviations for IEC requirements that maybe acceptable, but adopting the IEC requirements would require considerable retesting or redesign on themanufacturers part.DC - These are deviations based on the component standards and will not be deleted until a particularc

11、omponent standard is harmonized with the IEC component standard.DE - These are deviations based on editorial comments or corrections.DR - These are deviations based on the national regulatory requirements.Each national difference contains a description of what the national difference entails. 25、it is placed on a flat surface with itscenter line perpendicular to it; or2) The d.c. voltage between the plasma tip and the workpiece and/or earthshall not be higher than SELV when the plasma tip is placed at thedistance recommended by the manufacturer during the cutting andgouging, from a flat sur

26、face with the centerline perpendicular to thesurface.When the voltages of (a) or (b)(2) are exceeded, the voltages shall be reduced as specifiedin Section 13.NOTE An example of a fault is an abnormal condition resulting from the electrode being in contact withthe plasma tip. A fault can occur due to

27、 missing insulators, the plasma tip sticking to the electrode,conductive material between the plasma tip and electrode, wrong parts, loose parts, electrode abrasion,parts inserted incorrectly, excessive duty cycle (duty factor), excessive current or incorrect gas flow.7DV D2 Modification of 7 by add
