9、ION FROM ULPrefaceThis document provides a single listing of the technical National Differences included in the UL adoptionof the corresponding IEC standard.In its IEC-based standards, UL uses the notations indicated below to identify national difference type, andthese types are additionally noted i

10、n this document. The standard may not use all types of thesedeviations.D1 - These are deviations which are based on basic safety principles and requirements, elimination ofwhich would compromise safety for U.S. consumers and users of products.D2 - These are deviations based on safety practices. Thes

11、e are deviations for IEC requirements that maybe acceptable, but adopting the IEC requirements would require considerable retesting or redesign on themanufacturers part.DC - These are deviations based on the component standards and will not be deleted until a particularcomponent standard is harmoniz

12、ed with the IEC component standard.DE - These are deviations based on editorial comments or corrections.DR - These are deviations based on the national regulatory requirements.Each national difference contains a description of what the national difference entails. Typically one of thefollowing words

13、 is used to explain how the text of the national difference is to be applied to the base IECtext:Addition / Add - An addition entails adding a complete new numbered clause, subclause, table,figure, or annex. Addition is not meant to include adding select words to the base IEC text.Deletion / Delete

14、- A deletion entails complete deletion of an entire numbered clause, subclause,table, figure, or annex without any replacement text.Modification / Modify - A modification is an altering of the existing base IEC text such as theaddition, replacement or deletion of certain words or the replacement of

35、he largest PV array for which the equipment is rated, with regard to opencircuit voltage (VMAX PV) and short-circuit current (Isc MAX). The input source shall notlimit the operation of the PCE during normal operation testing. The supply shall beadjusted to operate within the PCE rated Input Voltage

36、Operating Range.4.2.2.7.1DV.2 Tests performed under abnormal or fault conditions shall be tested with asource capable of the PCE rated Maximum Input Source Short Circuit Current for that input(Isc MAX). If provided, any included or specified PCE overcurrent protective devices shallnot be altered or

37、changed.NOTE When selecting test conditions for the PV supply, consideration has to be given to thecharacteristic of PV arrays: when maximum voltage is available, the available current is at a minimum,and when maximum current is available, the voltage is at a minimum. It is not expected that any tes

Based on the analysis,faults shall be applied to relevant components in a manner that simulates the manner inwhich faults would occur in use. Components need only be faulted in a sin
