4、er as a free connector (separateentity) or as a fixed connector (panel or bulkhead type) and rated 1000 V ac or dc or less. Theseconnectors are intended for use in wiring methods detailed in Part IV of Article 690 - Solar PhotovoltaicSystems of the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70.CONSTRUCTION4 Gen

5、eral4.7 The configuration of a connector identified and intended for use on dc circuits and those identified andintended for use on ac circuits, shall be designed in such a manner as to prevent interchangeabilitybetween different voltages (i.e. ac or dc).RATINGS10 Details10.2 An ac voltage rating fo

6、r a multi pole device that has been evaluated for current interruption (Overloadand Resistance to Arcing tests) shall be identified by AC or AC only and need not be markedaccording to 11.1(d). Any dc rating shall have the statement in 11.1(d) clearly associated and marked withthe dc rating.MARKINGS1

8、tor designated for connection to the identified grounded(white/neutral) circuit conductor shall be identified by a white-colored housing. Devices designated forconnection to the identified grounding (green/grounding) circuit conductor shall be identified by a green-or green/yellow-colored housing. A

9、ll other device housings shall be colored other than green or white andreadily distinguishable from each other.RATIONALE FOR DECISION:It was brought to ULs attention that both single and multi-pin single PV connectors are used in either acor dc voltage applications. The intent of these revisions is
