The tag is to be wrapped around and adhered to the cord, and the ends of the tag are toadhere to each oth
4、er and project as a flag. The tag shall be tear-resistant and permanently affixed to thecord set. The leading edge of the tag shall be located within 18 inches (46 cm) of the point where the cordenters the body of the attachment plug. The marking itself shall be indelible.RATIONALE FOR DECISION:Flag
5、-type markings were originally authorized for submersible pumps only as the body of the pump wouldbe difficult to inspect in the field. Industry has requested the use of these types of labels for all types ofcord connected pumps. As these types of labels have been used in a number of types of portab
