Jointing of copper over 0.5 Kg (20 oz) weight or stainless steel over 0.45 mm (0.018 inch) thick shall be done by lapping, riveting and soldering. 3. Joints shall conform to following requirements: a. Flat-lock joints s

41、hall finish not less than 19 mm (3/4 inch) wide. b. Lap joints subject to stress shall finish not less than 25 mm (one inch) wide and shall be soldered and riveted. c. Unsoldered lap joints shall finish not less than 100 mm (4 inches) wide. 4. Flat and lap joints shall be made in direction of flow.
