1、9-11 28 05 00 - 1 SECTION 28 05 00 COMMON WORK RESULTS FOR ELECTRONIC SAFETY AND SECURITY SPEC WRITER NOTE: Delete between /_/ if not applicable to project. 2、all be included with all work to be performed under the 28000 series of the Master Construction Specifications. The section, though general in nature, should be edited to fit each project. PART 1 - GENERAL 1.1 DESCRIPTION SPEC WRITER NOTE: Edit paragraphs A to E based on project requirements. A. Thi

3、s Section, Common Work Results for Electronic Safety and Security (ESS), applies to all sections of Division 28. B. Furnish and install fully functional electronic safety and security cabling system(s), equipment and approved accessories in accordance with the specification section(s), drawing(s), a

4、nd referenced publications. Capacities and ratings of cable and other items and arrangements for the specified items are shown on each systems required Bill of Materials (BOM) and verified on the approved system drawing(s). If there is a conflict between contracts specification(s) and drawings(s), t

5、he contracts specification requirements shall prevail. C. The Contractor shall provide a fully functional and operating ESS, programmed, configured, documented, and tested as required herein and the respective Safety and Security System Specification(s). The Contractor shall provide calculations and

6、 analysis to support design and engineering decisions as specified in submittals. The Contractor shall provide and pay all labor, materials, and equipment, sales and gross receipts and other taxes. The Contractor shall secure and pay for plan check fees, permits, other fees, and licenses necessary f

7、or the execution of work as applicable for the project. Give required notices; the Contractor will comply with codes, ordinances, regulations, and other legal requirements of public authorities, which bear on the performance of work. D. The Contractor shall provide an ESS, installed, programmed, con

8、figured, documented, and tested. 10、 (UPS) interface. Operator training shall not be required as part of the Security Contractors scope and shall be provided by the Owner. The Security Contractor shall still be required to provide necessary maintenance and troubleshooting manuals as well as submittals as identified herein. The work sh

11、all include the procurement and installation of electrical wire and cables, the installation and testing of all system components. Inspection, testing, demonstration, and acceptance of equipment, software, materials, installation, documentation, and workmanship, shall be as specified herein. The Con

12、tractor shall provide all associated installation support, including the provision of primary electrical input power circuits. E. Repair Service Replacement Parts On-site service during the warranty period shall be provided as specified under “Emergency Service”. The Contractor shall guarantee all p

13、arts and labor for a term of one (1) year, unless dictated otherwise in this specification from the acceptance date of the system as described in Part 5 of this Specification. The Contractor shall be responsible for all equipment, software, shipping, transportation charges, and expenses associated w

14、ith the service of the system for one (1) year. The Contractor shall provide 24-hour telephone support for the software program at no additional charge to the owner. Manufacturers Qualifications: The manufacturer shall regularly and presently produce, as one of the manufacturers principal products, the equipment and material specified for this project, and shall have manufactured the item for at least three years. B. Product

45、Qualification: 1. Manufacturers product shall have been in satisfactory operation, on three installations of similar size and type as this project, for approximately three years. 2. The Government reserves the right to require the Contractor to submit a list of installations where the products have

46、been in operation before approval. C. Contractor Qualification: 1. The Contractor or security sub-contractor shall be a licensed security Contractor with a minimum of five (5) years experience installing and servicing systems of similar scope and complexity. The references must include a current point of contact, company or agency name, address, telephone numb

49、er, complete system description, date of completion, and approximate cost of the project. The owner reserves the option to visit the reference sites, with the site owners permission and representative, to verify the quality of installation and the references level of satisfaction with the system.
