29、technical Commission (IEC) is a worldwide organization for standardization comprising all national electrotechnical committees (IEC National Committees). The object of IEC is to promote international co-operation on all questions concerning standardization in the electrical and electronic fields. To

30、 this end and in addition to other activities, IEC publishes International Standards, Technical Specifications, Technical Reports, Publicly Available Specifications (PAS) and Guides (hereafter referred to as “IEC Publication(s)”). 46、ibre optic power control devices. These have all of the following general features: they are passive in that they contain no opto-electronic or other transducing elements; they have two ports for the transmission of optical power and control the transmitted power in a fixed or variable fashion; the

47、ports are unconnectorized optical fibre tails or optical fibre pigtails with connectors. This standard establishes generic requirements for the following passive optical devices: optical attenuator; optical fuse; optical power limiter. Test and measurement procedures for the above products are descr
