Scope*1.1 This specification covers the minimum requirements fort

3、he methods of application and finishing of gypsum board,including related items and accessories.1.2 Details of construction for a specific assembly toachieve the required fire resistance shall be obtained fromreports of fire-resistance tests, engineering evaluations, orlistings from recognized fire

4、testing laboratories.1.2.1 Where this specification is more stringent (size orthickness of framing: size and spacing of fasteners) than thefire-rated construction, this specification shall govern.1.3 Where sound control is required for a gypsum boardassembly, details of construction shall be in acco

Environmental Conditions4.1 Application of Gypsum Board, Joint TreatmentMaterials, and AdhesivesRoom temperature shall be main-tained at not less than 40F (4C) during applicatio

36、n of gypsumboard except when adhesive is used for the attachment ofgypsum board. For the bonding of adhesive, joint treatment,texturing, and decoration, the room temperature shall bemaintained at not less than 50F (10C) for 48 h prior toapplication and continuously thereafter until completely dry.Se

37、e X7.7 for additional detail regarding environmental controlduring the installation and finishing process.4.1.1 When a temporary heat source is used, the temperatureshall not exceed 95F (35C) in any given room or area.4.1.2 Adequate ventilation shall be maintained in the work-ing area during install
