Scope1.1 Applicability:1.1.1 This specification identifies the industry standardswhich have been determined by consensus to demonstratecompliance to t

3、he requirements (“the Rules”) for Level 1, 2, 3,4 Normal Category Aeroplanes.1.1.2 Only standards that are considered mature enough forgeneral application to certification projects and have beenfound acceptable by committee consensus to propose to theCAAs for acceptance as a Means of Compliance to t

4、heir Rulesare included.1.1.3 In the event that a particular CAAs requirements arenot harmonized with the other CAAs requirements, the stan-dards will be written to include the non-harmonized require-ments as well as the harmonized requirements with theapplicability defined in the standard.1.2 Civil

5、Aviation Authorities:1.2.1 CAAs may accept a specific revision of this specifi-cation as an acceptable Means of Compliance (MoC) to theirrequirements. Acceptance and applicability as a MoC to theCAAs airworthiness rules remains the decision of the respec-tive CAAs. CAAs may accept this specification

6、, with orwithout limitations as defined in their specification acceptancedocument. For information on which CAAs have acceptedthese standards (in whole or in part) as an acceptable MoC totheir Rules, refer to the ASTM F44 webpage (www.astm.org/COMMITTEE/F44.htm) which includes CAA website links.1.3

7、Applicant Responsibility:1.3.1 The applicant must seek individual guidance fromtheir respective CAA concerning the use of this specificationand any referenced Specifications, Practices, Test Methods, orGuides to show compliance to the CAA rules. Alternatively, anapplicant may propose a MoC other tha

8、n those included in thisspecification but it is their responsibility to obtain acceptanceof their proposed MoC from their CAA.1.4 This international standard was developed in accor-dance with internationally recognized principles on standard-ization established in the Decision on Principles for theD
