8、asurementofscreenluminancelevel,asseenbya (seated)viewerforalltypesofpurelyopticalstillprojectionindarkenedprojectionrooms.Since theopticalcharacteristicsofthesurfaceofthisscreenhaveadirectbearingonluminance,the screenshallbeconsideredanintegralpartoftheprojectionsystemforthispartofISO11315. Theluminancetowardstheviewingareaisdirectlydependentontheangleofthereflected(or transmitted)lightbythescreensurfaceaswellasontheviewingposition.Itisexpressedasa curvebytheluminancefactorindicatrix(se

AllprojectionmethodsincludedinthispartofISO11315involveopticalprojection,i.e.the projectionofanimageontoaprojectionsc
