14、tremelyhard material. 5 Takingtestsamplesfromindividualcathodes 5.1Procedure Cathodeblocksshallbesampled,bycoredr illingorsawing,inaccordancewiththeprovisionsofISO5022andwith theadditionalrequirementsgivenin5.2,5.3and5.4ofthispartofISO8007.Examplesofsamplelocationsaregivenin Figures1and2. Cathodeblo

15、cksproducedwithacollectorbarslotshallbeconsideredseparatelyfromthoseproducedwithoutaslot whendeterminingthelocationsfromwhichtestsample(s)willbetaken. Thelocationsfromwhichtestsampleswillbetakenshallbeagreedbetweenthesellerandbuyerinaccordancewith 5.2or5.3.ISO80071:1999(E) ISO 2 5.2 Cathodeblockspro

17、lot.Samplingshallnotweaken thecathodeblockorincreasethelikelihoodofprematurefailure.Extremecareshallbeexercisedwhentakingvertically drilledsamples.ExamplesofpositionsfromwhichtestsamplescanbetakenareshowninFigure1. Whensamplingextralengthcathodeblocks,testsamp

20、lesshallbetakenhorizontallyandvertically,spreadingthe samplinglocationsevenlyovertheentirecrosssectionoftheblock. Whennoextralengthcathodeblocksareavailable,testsamplesshallbetakenhorizontallyandvertically,butthe optionsaremorerestricted. Samplingshallnotweaken,contaminateorcausethedestructionoftheb
