8、cceptance Procedure. This amendment has been prepared within the regular maintenance programme which covers all Parts of HD 22. Attention is especially drawn to Annex X and Annex Y, which will be incorporated into HD 22.1 and HD 516 at a later date. The text of the draft was submitted to the Unique

9、Acceptance Procedure and was approved by CENELEC as amendment Al to HD 22.3 S3:1995 on 1998-08-01. The wires may be plain or tinned or protected by a metal other than tin, for e

20、xample silver. Separator A separator of suitable material may be applied around the conductor. Insulation The insulation shall be a cross-linked compound, Type EI 2 applied around the conductor. The insulation shall be applied by extrusion. It may consist of one or two layers. All tests shall be app

21、lied to the complete insulation, which shall meet the requirements for Type EI 2. The insulation thickness shall comply with the specified value given in Part 3 Table V, column 2. Sheath The cores shall be covered with a sheath. The sheath shall be a cross-linked compound type EM 9, applied by extru

22、sion. The thickness of the sheath shall comply with the specified value given in Part 3, Table V, column 3. The sheath shall be capable of being removed without damage to the cores. Overall diameter The mean overall diameter shall be within the limits given in Part 3, Table V, columns 4 and 5. Page
