The reasons for the amendments to this Publication are mentioned in the last column in accordarice with the CENELEC Internal Regulations. 12、 (Wiring Rules): Class I appliances provided With a plug complying with CEE- Publication 7 are not allowed. Therefore such appliances supplied with a flexible cable or cord do not require.to be fitted with a plug. 26c Denmark (Heavy Current Regulations C23 S2308h): The terminal shall be placed in su

13、ch a way that internal wires, during replacement of supply cable or cord, have no possibility of being squeezed or exposed to harmful influence eg. through pull, rwis t or sharp- bendings. Loose terminals and terminals placed on e.g. lids or parts which are movable without the use of a tool after co

14、vers have been removed for replacement of supply cable or cord, are not permitted. This requirement need not to be complied with in case the terminals for supply connection are placed in housings, which are entirely of insulating material or which have insulation between the interior of the housing

15、and accessible metal parts and in which there are no parts which are intended apply to equipment of Class I and Class 01. For equipment of Class O the said insulation shall at least be functional insulation, and for equipment of Class II it shall at least be reinforced insulation. Such insulation sh

16、all also be found in places where cords. or. cables may get jamed, for being connected to earth. 17、wing test, which is not made on parts of ceramic material, The insulating parts are subjected to a test made with an electrically heated conical mandrel in an apparatus as shown in figure 9. The mandrel is inserted into a conical hole reamed in the part to be tested in such a way that portions of th

18、e conical part of the mandrel of equal length protrude from both sides. The sample is pressed against the perature of 300OC in approximately 3 minutes and is maintained within IOOC of this value for 2 minutes. The temperature is measured by means of a thermocouple inside the mandrel. During the test

19、, sparks of about G mm in length are produced at the upper surface of the sample where the mandrel protrudes, by means of a high-frequency spark generator. The appliance switch, if any, is then moved to the “OFF“- position and the appliance is disconnected from the siipply by means of the plug. One second after disconnection, the vol
