13、age 2 HD 53.1 4 SI 3992 Foreword The CENELEC questionnaire procedure, performed for finding out whether or not the second impression of the Internationai Standard IEC 34-14 including Amendment Nr. 1:1988 could be accepted without textual changes, has shown that some modifications were necessary for

14、the acceptance as Harmonization Document. The reference document, together with the common modifications prepared by CENELEC Technical Committee TC 2, Rotating machinery, was submitted to the CENELEC members for formal vote and was approved by CENELEC as HD 53.14 S1 on 1 O December 1991. This Harmon

15、ization Dowment replaces HD 347 S1:1978. The following dates were fixed: - latest date of announcement of the HD at national level - latest date of publication of a harmonized national standard - latest date of withdrawal of conflicting standards (doa) 1992-06-01 (dop) 1993-06-01 (dow) 1993-06-01 Fo

16、r products which have complied with the relevant national standard before 1993-06-01 as shown by the manufacturer or by a certification body, this previous standard may continue to apply for production until 1998-06-01. 19、hod will be made by the manufacturer. 3. The evaluation of axial bearing vibration depends on the bearing function and bearing construction. In the case of thrust bearings, axial vibrations correlate with thrust pulsations which could cause damage to the metal liners of sleeve bearings or to parts o

20、f antifriction bearings. Axial vibrations of these bearings shouM be judged in the same manner as transverse vibrations. Where bearings have no axial limiting constructions, a less exacting requirement may be acceptable. All such cases should be subject to prior agreement between manufacturer and pu
