5、action is an important element of individual wellbeing. What factors contribute to job satisfaction? How realistic is the expectation of job satisfaction for all workers?(分数:2.00)_正确答案:(正确答案: Nowadays many adults have full-time jobs and the proportion of their lives spent in the workplace is very hi

6、gh. Therefore, feelings about ones job reflect how an individual feels about his or her life as a whole, and because of this, job satisfaction is very important indeed for the wellbeing of that person. Employees receive job satisfaction in a number of ways. Firstly, a person needs to feel that they

7、are doing valued and valuable work, so positive feedback from superiors is very important in this regard. A sense of fulfillment is also encouraged if a worker feels the job is worth doing because it contributes to society or the economy as a whole. Secondly, when someone feels they are improving or

8、 developing their skills (through training opportunities, for example) then there is a sense of progression and purpose that rewards a worker. The sense of belonging to a team or a working community also contributes to job satisfaction because colleagues help each other to enjoy their working lives.

9、 Satisfaction is also increased by a sense of responsibility for and loyalty to a team. Of course not everyone enjoys their work. Hard economic realities mean that many people have little choice in the kind of job they can get. In some cases, an employee is working in a job that suits neither their

10、skills nor their personality. Some jobs are repetitive and boring, and labor relations may be poor and lead to resentment and insecurity rather than to job satisfaction. However, even though it is unlikely that all workers will feel happy in their work, I think it is not unrealistic to promote job s

11、atisfaction in any job. If the factors identified above are implemented, then any job can be improved and more workers can feel a greater degree of job satisfaction.)解析:3.Happiness is considered very important in life. Why is it difficult to define? What factors are important in achieving happiness?

12、分数:2.00)_正确答案:(正确答案: Happiness is very difficult to define because it means so many different things to different people. While some people link happiness to wealth and material success, others think it lies in emotions and loving personal relationships. Yet others think that spiritual paths, rathe

Because people interpret happiness for themselves in so many different ways, it is difficult to give any definition that is true for everyone. However, if there are different kinds of happiness for dif

14、ferent individuals, then the first step in achieving it would be to have a degree of self-knowledge. A person needs to know who he or she is before being able to know what it is that makes him or her happy. Of course, factors such as loving relationships, good health, the skills to earn a living and

15、 peaceful environment all contribute to our happiness too. But this does not mean that people without these conditions cannot be happy. Overall, I think an ability to keep clear perspectives in life is a more essential factor in achieving happiness. By that I mean an ability to have a clear sense of

16、 what is important in our lives (the welfare of our families, the quality of our relationships, making other people happy, etc.) and what is not (a problem at work, getting annoyed about trivial things, etc.). Like self-awareness, this is also very difficult to achieve, but I think these are the two

17、 factors that may be the most important for achieving happiness.)解析:4.Most countries want to improve their standard of living through economic development, while others think social values are lost as a result. Do you think the advantages of economic development outweigh the disadvantages?(分数:2.00)_

18、正确答案:(正确答案: Peoples living standards are largely improved due to economic development. However, arguing that social values are lost as a result, some contend that the disadvantages of economic development outweigh the advantages. I strongly disagree and will outline both views in my essay. Economic

19、development brings about considerably significant advantages. Generally speaking, peoples livelihood is substantially improved. Also, the domains of politics, culture and technology derive observable benefit from economic progress. Therefore, more and more people are living at a higher standard with

20、 regard to both material and spiritual aspects. These advantages are being enjoyed by us and should not be ignored. Some argue that loss of social values means our society is deteriorating. However, I would say that social values keep changing to adapt to society. For instance, years ago students we

The change in social value gives priority to life instead of property. Life should be undeniably respected in this case. As a result, social values should be p

As the saying goes, “one mans meat is anothers poison.“ The loss of or change in social values is bound to be accepted with delight by some. A loss of social values is not necessarily a bad thing, as new so

More importantly, the advantages of economic development outweigh the disadvantages.)解析:5.Some people think that by paying taxes they have contributed enough to their society. Others think there are other responsibilities besides payi

In this essay, I shall outline the key ones. Paying taxes is certainly a responsibility for citizens. It is necessary f

Other services may be provided by governments depending on their (and their citizens) wishes (e.g. education and a health service). It can be argued that this is all people need to do regarding their social responsibilities. Aft

26、er all, the government can now use the money as necessary. However, I think this is not the only responsibility citizens have. Many people argue that another responsibility citizens have is to obey the law. Of course, there may be situations where some people might find breaking the law to be necess

27、ary, but many laws are useful, e.g. ones which are against violent behaviour or theft. If the majority of people start breaking these kinds of laws, society quickly collapses into chaos. A lot of people also argue that it is necessary for citizens to follow other, unwritten, laws or customs in their

28、 everyday lives. Whilst it is not against the law to be rude to other people, being polite does help society to function in a better way, making it easier to communicate with others and get things done. For example, shopping might not be so easy if customers and sales staff were generally rude to each other. In summary, I think that there are other responsibilities that people have to society, aside from a financial contribution in the form of taxes. Whilst these contributions may not be financial, they help society to function.)解析:
