Our aim in participation was to establish projects that focuses on empowering Arab women wit

4、7,AWO Digital Content,Geographical Information database (GIS):It is a database project, initiated to reflect the Social, Political & Economic status of Arab women.The indicators adopted have been set by member states experts to comply with the MDGs cultural and ethical values of the region.The GIS t
5、echniques used supports decision-making as shown.,17/6/2007,AWO Digital Content,Awareness & Educational Modules: This is a E-Learning interactive and dynamic Web-based project. It aims at enhancing capacities and raising awareness of Arab women. This has been implemented through seven modules:Osteop
6、osis Breast Cancer Child dental Care Preschool children Cardiology Obesity Child Psychology The first two modules have been completed as shown. 9、t Arabs abroad constitute an enormous credit of energies and talents. Arabs abroad can and should be part of their countries efforts and plans of development and progress. Hence, the first mission this network is to know and make these energies and talents known. Recognizing these facts, AWO decided
10、 to fund this project to bridge the gap between Arabs abroad and their home countries. AWO understands that different countries exert concentrated efforts to help their immigrants abroad and to make good use of the distinct among them. Arab countries are not and should not be an exception in this re
11、gard. This network is a first step toward:1- Answering the who, what and where questions about Arabs abroad. 2- Helping Arab women and families to find convenient ways of communicating with each other and with their home institutions. 3- Providing Arab governments and institutions with the available
12、 information about where their citizens abroad are located. Most Arabs abroad, especially women, have been able to act as presentable ambassadors of their countries and have gained the know-how necessary to help their home countries.
