15、 PAS 291999 Introduction Paper pulp disposable products are made by the extraction of water from a suspension of cellulose fibre. These products are bedpans, slipper bedpans, bottles, bowls, trays and jugs, and are designed to be capable of containing water and/or human waste. They are designed for
16、one-time use and to have a capacity appropriate for one-time use. NOTE 1 Ancillary supports may be used with bedpans and general purpose bowls. NOTE 2 Since the test method in clause 5 requires the products to be filled to half their capacity, the total capacity of different products should be known
17、. 1 Scope This Product Assessment Specification specifies performance requirements for paper pulp disposable products for use in healthcare. 2 Terms and definitions For the purposes of this Product Assessment Specification, the following terms and definitions apply * 2.1 retention ability to contain

NOTE This is typically a macerator that initially breaks down the contents by mechanical action and then further reduces them to pulp by the hydraulic action of water. The cycle time is generally 2 min. 6.3 Selection of test samples During prod
