48、ntrol systems for petroleum processing facilities. The major sections of this RP are described in 1.2.2 through 1.2.7. Figure 1 illustrates the major functions involved in the efficient and economic operation of a refinery and shows where advanced control fits into this scheme. Advanced control syst
