49、 1 CHAPTER 1 Scope and Conditions of Classification SECTION 3 Rules for Classification (1 January 2008) 1 Application of Rules 1.1 General (2016) These Rules are applicable to self-propelled steel vessels under 90 meters (295 feet) in length intended for unrestricted ocean service, except where specifically mentioned otherwise.
