19、 follows)SECTION 1GENERAL REQUIREMENTS1.1Scope1.1.1 Work specifiedThis specification sets theminimum requirements for testing of ready mixed concreteat the project site when specific field-measured propertiesand laboratory-measured compressive strength are used as abasis for acceptance of concrete a

20、s delivered to the site. Itincludes requirements for making and curing test specimens,performing field and laboratory tests, and qualifyingpersonnel and laboratories performing these tests. Testingservices required in this specification shall be completed bya Testing Agency engaged by the Owner. The

21、 TestingAgency must be independent from conflicts of interest thatmay affect objective reporting of the testing services.1.1.2 Work not specifiedThis specification does notapply to testing requirements and responsibilities required ofthe construction Contractor.1.1.3 Project DocumentsThe Testing Age

22、ncy shallprovide the tests and reports defined by the Project Specifi-cations supplied by the Owner or Owners representative.1.2Qualifications1.2.1 The Testing Agency shall submit qualifications of fieldtechnicians and laboratory testing technicians, as defined inSections 1.2.1.1 to 1.2.1.2, to Owne

45、rwise specified. Specimens shall be stored underconditions that meet the requirements of ASTM C31 andshall be verified by Testing Agency. Such storage shall havetemperature controls to maintain ASTM C31 temperaturerequirements. Calibrated temperature recording devicesshall be used to record daily ma

46、ximum and minimumtemperatures of the initial curing environment.2.5.2 TransportationTesting Agency will recover andtransport concrete specimens in accordance with ASTM C31.2.5.3 Final curingFinal curing of strength test speci-mens shall be done in accordance with ASTM C31 and C511until time of test.

47、2.6Testing for strengthDetermine compressive strengths of cylinders in accor-dance with 2.3.5.SECTION 3SUBMITTALS3.1ScopeThe Testing Agencys scope of authority, the requirementsfor submittal of reports (timelines, methods of delivery anddistribution list), and the procedure for notification ofdefici

48、encies (methods of delivery, timelines and distributionlist), and required observations shall be defined in theContract with the Owner before the start of the project.3.2Reports3.2.1 Daily reportThe Testing Agency shall submitdaily reports that document the results of field concrete testsperformed i

49、n accordance with Section 2.2 and distributed inaccordance with Section 3.1, unless otherwise specified.3.2.2 Nonconformance reportDeficient items shall becommunicated in a nonconformance report to the distributionlist established in accordance with Section 3.1. Unless otherwise311.6-4 ACI STANDARDstated in the Contract Documents, a nonconformance reportshall be issued within 24 hours for any concrete found deficient.3.2.3 Final reportA final field report and a laboratoryreport per ASTM test standards s
