The compound shall consist of a homogeneous mixture of 50 percent boiled linseed oil and 50 percent petroleum spirits by volume. 3.2. Th

7、e boiled linseed oil shall conform to the requirements of ASTM D260, for Boiled Linseed Oil Type I or Type II. 3.3. The petroleum spirits shall conform to the requirements of ASTM D235, for Petroleum Spirits (Mineral Spirits). 2015 by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Offi

When requested by the purchaser, the manufacturer shall certify that the boiled linseed oil and petroleum spirits used in the mixture fully conform to the requirements specified in Sections 3.2 and 3.3,

The mixture shall have the following properties: Minimum Maximum Specific gravity 25/25C 0.84 0.88 Acid value 5 Nonvolatile by mass, percent 55 57 Drying time, h 16 Color, Gardner 13 Iodine value 90 Saponification 100 Flash point (T.C.C.)
