After examination and signature

8、fracture originating from cracks or crack-like stress concentrators. The methods are intended for specifications of acceptance and manufacturing quality control when there is a sound basis for establishing a minimum acceptable sharp-notch strength. These methods are restricted to such material where

14、8-81 or ASTM E 602-81 shall be mandatory with the following details and changes : - For sheet and plate equal to or greater than 0,6 mm but less than or equal to 12,s nun in thickness, ASTM E 338-81 with the changes mentioned below shall be used, - For material greater than 12,s mm in thickness, AST
15、M E 602-81 with the changes mentioned below, shall be used : . References to ASTM E 399 shall be substituted with references to EN 2002-22. . References to ASTM E 4 shall be substituted with references to EN 10002-2. . References to ASTM E 8 or ASTM B 557 shall be substituted with references to EN 2
16、002-1 or EN 2002-2, whichever is applicable. The wording of note 2, clause 1.4 in ASTM E 338-81 and in clause 1.6 in ASTM E 602-81 shall be : “The values stated in S.1.-units are to be regarded as the standard“. References to ASTM E 338 or ASTM E 602 shall be substituted with references to this stan
17、dard. 4 Test results The results of the test shall meet the requirements of the relevant material standard.
