6、 2553 for welding. 1 Scope and field of application This standard specifies the indications to be shown on drawings or other docu- ments dealing with welding of metallic materials in aerospace industries. 2 References IS0 2553-1984 Welds - Symbolic representation on drawings IS0 4063-1978 Welding, b

7、razing, braze welding and soldering of metals - List of processes, for symbolic representation on drawings 3 Indications on drawings 3.1 Symbolic representation Conform to IS0 2553. This standard shall be called up either on the drawing or other documents. - - 3.2 Other indications Drawing of welded

8、 assemblies shall give, either directly, or by reference to other documents, all the necessary instructions : - for defining precisely the requirements for preparation and for carrying out of the weld, - for acceptance of the welds by the appropriate authorities. This information includes : o - loca

9、tion of the weld and (if necessary) the spacing or pitch, - the welding process as per IS0 4063 or by reference to a document defining the process or processes, - the dimensions of the weld, - parts after welding, - - classification of the weld (in accordance with the regulations in force), - indica

10、tion of type of welding rod9 if any (unless covered by the welding process), - the designation of the materials of the parts to be assembled (in accor- dance with existing rules), - heat treatment after welding, indication of the minimum physical properties of the weld and/or the welded the preparat
