The technical specification shall specify whether elements of connection are mated or unmated a

14、llowing details shall be specified : - mated or unrnated elements of connection, - method of mounting and definition of the specimen wiring, - initial measurements and requirements, - degree of severity (temperatures TA and Tg and duration ti 1, - methods and requirements for final measurements. 4 A
15、pparatus Two chambers, one for the low temperature and one for the high temperature shall be provided. The location of the chambers shall be such as to allow a rapid transfer of specimens from one chamber to the other in less than 1 min. The chambers for the low temperature and for the high temperat
16、ure shall be capable of maintaining, in any region where the specimens under test are placed, the required temperatures f 3 %. The volume -of chambers shall be such that, after insertion of the test specimens, the temperature shall be within the specified tolerance after a time of not more than 5 mi
17、n or IO % of the exposure time, whichever is the smaller. Unless otherwise specified in the technical specification, the thermal conduction of the mounting or support shall be low, such that for practical purposes the specimen is thermally isolated. 5 Method 5.1 Initial measurements (if applicable)
18、They shall be carried out as specified by the technical specification. 5.2 Procedure 5.2.1 The severity of the test shall be defined by the combination of the low and high temperatures of the specimen category and the number of cycles. 5.2.2 The number of cycles shall be 10, with a possible interrup
19、tion (not exceeding 24 h) after the 5th cycle. 20、N 2591-C5 Page 5 5.2.3 The duration of exposure to each of the two temperatures depends upon the heat capacity of the specimen. It shall be 30 min, unless otherwise stipulated in the technical specification. 5.2.4 The specimen at the room temperature shall be subjected to the test cycle as defined i

22、e) The specimen shall be subjected to the tests in following sequence : - EN 2591-B7 - Voltage proof test, - EN 259 1 -B6 - Measurement of insulation resistance, - EN 2591-Al - Visual examination, - EN 2591-D8 - Mating and unmathg forces.
