11、lated, tin plated, in-line splices for crimping on tin or silver plated copper conductors and nickel plated in-line splices for crimping on nickel plated copper conductors. They may be used at temperatures up to 150 “C maximum. This standard shall be used in conjunction with EN 3373-001. 2 Normative

26、rance shall be in accordance with EN 3373-001 8 Details of assembly tooling 8.1 Crimping tools Crimping tools shall conform to the requirements of MIL-DTL-22520/37. 8.2 Heating devices Hot air heating devices shall be fitted with reflectors to concentrate the heat and protect adjacent materials from

27、 damage and shall produce an air temperature of 280 “C to 340 “C in the active zone of the reflector. For heating in areas where there may be a hazard due to the presence of flammable vapours only heaters specially designed and approved for use in such areas shall be used. Copyright Association Euro

29、wn in Figure 1. 10 Packaging The packaging is to be marked with the EN designation, manufacturers name, part number, the quantity in the package and the date of manufacturer and batch number.
