、ification is necessary either if changes to the manufacturing schedule fixed in the approval IPS occur which may adversely affect the quality of the product or each three years. The specific program shall be defined by the Mandated body and carried out by the manufacturer, and has to include the sta
、bility tests (hardness and swell at 107 OC, O h to 1 880 h. See MS). 5.5 First article inspection (FAI) The supplier shall conduct a first article inspection on all initially manufactured parts, components, subassemblies and assemblies, as well as on the first complete series-product manufactured in
、 accordance with series-production practices and procedures. A first article inspection shall also be conducted following a major change in methods of manufacture, a major modification of the design, or a change of the production site or of essential tools of production. The supplier shall prepare a
、 test program for the FA1 and shall submit it for approval to the customer at least six weeks before the FA1 starts. The customer shall be given reasonable notice in advance of all FA1 activities and may elect, at his discretion, to participate in the FA1 active or passive. The manufacturer shall re
、cord the results of each FA1 in a FA1 report. The first components supplied to the customer shall be accompanied by a valid set of engineering documents and the FA1 report. The supplier shall be informed in writing of any discrepancies or of the approval of the FAI. Any components not conforming to
、the valid documents and regulations shall be modified by the supplier to conform in such a manner as to ensure full conformity. 5.6 Acceptance test 5.6.1 General Serial products shall be manufactured in accordance with the manufacturing schedule of qualification and agreed revisions. 5.6.2 Inspectio
、n sampling Test and inspection provisions shall be conducted on sampling basis. Sampling plan must be in accordance with IS0 2859-1. Inspection data (lot size and variable or attribute data) for each production batch shall be submitted with the acceptance test certificate required in 5.6.4. Non-dest
、ructive tests and inspection shall be sampled at the normal level II with an AQL of 1 .O. Destructive tests shall be sampled under IS0 2859-1 with the level of S-4 with an AQL of 1 .O. Where minor deviation specific to a particular material are required they shall be identif
、ied in the appropriate MS and IPS. The test results shall demonstrate compliance with the technical requirements of this TS, the MS and the IPS. Acceptance testing shall be the responsibility of the manufacturer. The test samples extracted should be representative of the whole batch delivered in acc
、ordance with this specification. The purchaser reserves the right to perform any of the inspections and/or tests required by this TS, the relevant MS and IPS during acceptance testing (e.9. First Article Inspections - FAI). When required, the manufacturer shall inform the purchaser or his chosen age
、nt of the planned dates for the extraction of samples and release testing, in order that these operations may be witnessed. Reductions in test frequency may also be negotiated with the Mandated body in favour of statistical process control and defined in the IPS. 5.6.4 Acceptance test certificate Fo
、r proof of the required properties, the manufacturer shall prepare and sign an acceptance test certificate 3.1 .B as per EN 10204 and forward at least two copies thereof to the purchaser. It shall at least contain: - Manufacturer?s name and address of the manufacturing site; - Order number; - IPSnum
、ber; - Material and delivery condition; - Trade name, if appropriate; - Quantity; - Batch number; - Results of mandatory tests and re-tests. 5.7 Capability clause If a manufacturer can demonstrate proven capaAty, using statisticrj based data, then the requirement to test against an individual specif
、ication may be reduced with agreement of the Mandated body and referenced in the IPS. Such an action shall not reduce the obligations of the manufacturer to comply with all the specification requirements. 5.8 Re-testing and rejection 5.8.1 Re-testing If the test procedure or test piece preparation i
、s faulty, testing shall be re-applied at the original frequency after rectification of the original cause of failure. When failure cannot be attributed to faulty testing, or test piece preparation, further test samples shall be selected at twice the original frequency from products on which the inco
、rrect results were obtained unless already withdrawn by the manufacturer after suitable identification of the cause of failure. If all retest results are satisfactory, the batch shall be accepted. If one or more retest results are unsatisfactory, the batch shall be: - Rejected; or - 100 % retest and

、product to meet the requirements of the relevant specification shall be cause for rejection of the product. Any defect not detected during acceptance testing, but which becomes apparent during the subsequent use of the product shall be cause for rejection of the unused portion of the batch, provided
、 such a defect is cause for rejection under the requirements of the relevant specification. 5.9 Warranty Each production batch or shipment, whichever is smaller, of the qualified product submitted to this TS shall be warranted through an acceptance test certificate by the manufacturer and/or supplie
、r to meet the requirements of this TS and the relevant MS, IPS and the product standard. The manufacturer and/or supplier shall also warrant that the raw materials and processes used in manufacture of the subsequent production batches or shipment are the same in type, form and quality as those used
、for the qualification products and agreed revisions. 5.1 O Audit The user retains the right to audit manufacturing process of a qualified product at certain intervals. Audit will be performed based on the agreed IPS. The manufacturer shall make available all necessary documents, records etc. for ins
、pection by the user. If required the audit can be carried out in the frame of a non-disclosure agreement for specific activities. 6 Preparation for delivery 6.1 Packaging All seal elements shall be individually packaged in suitable and light protected bags. They shall be thoroughly clean before pack
、aging. Packaging shall be accomplished under conditions which will assure freedom from all contamination or damage to the seal elements. The unit packaging shall be of such material and construction as to protect the seal elements from contamination until the package is opened. 6.2 Identification of
、 marking of packages Each package shall contain the following identification in print of a size that can be easily recognized: Phosphate ester; Standard number of seal element (e.9. EN 6075-045); Manufacturers part number (if any) and address or trademark; Material Specification; Name of manufacture
、r; Date of manufacture (year, quarter); Quantity; Production batch number; Storage according to EN 2751; Legend “ETHYLENE PROPYLENE and “DO NOT FOLD”. 6.3 Shipment The responsibility for shipping is to be detailed in a transport contract.
