6、l circumstances, however, the publication of a Technical Report of one of the following types may be proposed : - type 1, the subject is still under technical development requiring wider exposure ; - type 2, a Technical Committee has collected data of a different kind from that which is normally pub

16、h as: - one or more delivery conditions, - one reference set of processing conditions for acceptance test and qualification purposes which may differ from the use condition intended by the user, - series of technical requirements for these different conditions NOTE A material standard may also speci
17、fy one or more than one use condition, providing that the variants are not interconvertable. 19、c material a group of non-metallic materials characterised by basic descriptions generally in semi-finished product forms such as but not exclusively: - rubbers, - sealants, - transparent plastics, - glass, - adhesives, - anaerobic polymerizable compounds, - honeycombs, - paints, - reinforcement fib
20、re, - preimpregnates, - textiles 3.1.3 semi-finished products a generic term used to indicate that the material as delivered is in an intermediate form to that occuring in the final component This term may refer to the following: - adhesives where one delivered condition may be a two-part mix and th
21、e final use condition is the cured adhesive; - preimpregnates, which are subsequently shaped to produce a part with specified characteristics; - honeycomb which may be shaped and formed. 3.1.4 type of semi-finished products semi-finished product forms (sheets, rolls, tube, cloths, liquids, paste etc
22、.) associated with the relevant family of non-metallic materials 3.1.5 final condition of use the condition of the material in which no further processing (except machining or shaping) is required before use 3.2 Symbols and abbreviations For the purpose of this standard, the following symbols and ab
23、breviations shall apply: Abbreviations shall be taken from IS0 31. The following for sizes and units shall be taken from IS0 31-1, IS0 31-3, IS0 31-4, IS0 31-11 and IS0 1000. 40、espective of the family of non-metallic material. The actual format is dependent on the family of non-metallic material. This form describes the general characteristics of the product, and is applicable to all non-metallic material standards. 5.1.2 This form shall be used for each of the following t
41、hree tables for which it is required to specify requirements. When required optional characteristic selected from annex C shall be completed as follows: Tables 2 to 4: see Annex B Table 2, requirements in the delivery condition (column 0 optional (see figure 1): add line or case number). Table 3, re
42、quirements as processed to characteristic number 1.013 (column 0 optional: add line or case number). Table 4, environmental testing requirements as processed to characteristic number 1 .O13 (column 0 optional: add line or case number). The characteristic numbers, (see annex C) shall be written in co
43、lumn (see figure I), and shall be pre-fixed with the table number. When more than one characteristic number applies for a particular requirement, both characteristic numbers shall be shown in column 0. The characteristic titles shall be written in column 0 (see figure I), including any information t
44、o clarify the requirements. Column (see figure I) shall be completed with a sub-case number corresponding to the information to be given in column 0 (see figure 1) and selected from the following: 0 Case number or line number (optional) I Characteristic number 0 Characteristic Sub-case number 7 - Fi

46、 the technical specification referenced in 1.004. - If all the necessary information is contained in the technical specification, the sub-case is opened by stating “see EN xxxx“. In this case a hyphen is inserted in the third column. No other sub-case number will be given. - If the technical specifi
47、cation or the test method: - does not give any information, - only gives partial information, - or gives a choice, or if the requirements differ from those given in the technical specification or test method, then sub- cases 1 !o 7 shall be completed as required with the necessary information. - Col
48、umn 0 is completed, in accordance with the specific instructions given in the relevant dash numbered part of this standard. Values which will be agreed during qualification shall be expressed as a range in the material standard, e: No “X values to be specified in material standards. It is only neces
49、sary to complete those sub-cases for which information is required to be specified. 5.2 5.2.1 General The column 0 (see figure 1) is optional. If used, the case number shall be consecutive. Alternatively, it can be replaced by a consecutive line numbering as indicated in the dash number part. If there is insufficient width in a column then information shall be repeated below and marked “continued“. General instructions for
