2、 for MIL-S-17346 for all federal agencies. 1. SCOPE. This commercial item description covers flexible abrasive commutator burnishing stones of the aluminum oxide type having a resilient bond. 2. SALIENT CHARACTERISTICS: 2.1 Design. The commutator burnishing stones shall be designed to be flexible, n

3、ondusting, nonloading and nonconductive and shall be suitable for producing a burnished surface on polished metal. The grains shall be bonded with a flexible bond of synthetic rubber. 2.4 Material. - The stones shall be made of crystalline aluminum oxide abrasive materials of a quality necessary to comply with the requirements specified herein. The stones shall have a durometer hardness of not more than 9

9、tification substantiating evidence that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this Commercial Item Description, and that the product conforms to the producers own drawings, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices, and is the same product offered for sale in the
