The list includes preferred specifications, descriptive information, limitations, and general properties of the coating materials. 1.1 Contractors finish specification. A specification covering the protective finishfor application to the weapon system

3、s hardware shall be developed by the contractor and submitted for approval to the Air Force procuring activity in accordance with the individual contract. Unless otherwise specified the documents listed herein and MIL-F-7179 type II shall be the basis for preparing the finish specification. 1.2 Mter

4、ials and processes. The use of materials and processes not covered by specifications referenced in this bulletin will be subject to the approval of the Air Force procuring activity. Coating and process specifications not listed herein should be submitted by the contractor for evaluation and approval

5、 Materials will be subject at any time to such tests of the applicable specification as the Govern- ment inspector may require to assure conformance thereto. Proposed deviations, should be accompanied by sufficient explanation, including test data as required, to permit an engineering evaluation. 2
