28、lectronicequipment used in space systems. It also includes requirementsdesigned to establish an effective ground reference for theinstalled equipment and designed to inhibit adverseelectrostatic effects. The purposes of this standard are:a. To define minimum performance requirements forelectromagnet

To identify the system relationships pertinent toelectromagnetic compatibility,co To identify requirements for system and equipmentengineering designed to enable achievingcoitipatibizityin a timely, predictable, andeconomical manner.d. 30、temtests and analyses to demonstrate compliance withthis standard.1.2 pLIILITYThe requirements covered by this standard apply to launchand space vehicles plus the associated grounds airborne, orspaceborne operational and support elements of the spacesystem. It applies to.new and modified or redesign

31、ed equipmentor systems, and to existing equipment used in new applications.Equipment requirements are separately stated for vehicle andground applications. Provisions for program peculiarcompatibility requirements enable its use for systems which wereoriginally developed and qualified to conform to
