15、nsist of a model representative of the production equipment. It shall be tested at a laboratory designated by the procuring activitp or, when so stated in the contract, at the contractors plnt under the supervision of the procuring activity. 4.5.2 PREPRODUCZTON TESTS.- Aieproduction tests shall cona

16、ist of all the tests described under Loh. 5. PREPARATIOIi FOR DELNERY 5.1 PRECERVATION AND PACKAGING 5.1.1 LEVEL A.= Trallera shall be proserved and packaged in accordance with MIL-P-33bS, type II. r. C: 1 . 2 LEVEL C.-*!lrailers shall be preserved and packaged in accordance with the manufacturers c

17、omercial practice, 5.2 PACKING 5.2.1 LFW A.- The trailer shall be rigidly mounted to skids ky mans of a wood crzdle, or equivalent, which will support the weight of the trailer so that the wheels are held at least 1 inch off the floor of the shipping container. The trailer shall be firm strapped to

18、the skids of the container. 5.2.2 LEVEL B.- The trailer shall be shipped completely assembled in a condition acceptable for comon carrier at the lowest rates. 5.2.3 LEVEL C.- Packages which require overpacking for acceptance by the carrier shall be packed in exterior-type shipping containers in a ma

19、nner that will insure safe transportation at the lowest rate to the point of delivery. Containers shall meet Consolidated Freight Classification Rules or regulations of other common carriers as appU- . cable to the aiode of transportation. 5.3 MARKING.- Interior and exterior shipping containers ehal

20、l be marked in accordance with MIGSTD-129. The shipment marking nomen- clature shall be as follows: t however, the tires will penetrate to solid footing before ground clearances are exceeded.
